Saints Row 5: Next-Gen Plot Predictions (Part 1)

Saints Row 5: Next-Gen Plot Predictions (Part 1)

Scenario 1: The Saints travel back in time to revisit their pasts one more time before they move on to another civilization (to continue into Scenario 3). They must briefly visit important events in each timeframe (game) and get everything and everyone that they need, taking on a more serious tone as with older installments.

Scenario 2: A Prequel that goes all out nostalgia on the original Saints Row fans that will get the oldies and the newcomers to enjoy the franchise again and explaining some of the backstory of how the Saints came to be. This would take some plot development, but that's just what Volition needs to do to win back their fans. I think it's out there, but definitely can work with enough time.

Scenario 3: A New Beginning
IMPORTANT: This could very likely be Saints Row 5 or could be Saints Row 6, coming after the time travel concept for Saints Row 5 in Scenario 1.
Combining the over-the-top theme with the fact that Earth is not there anymore, the Saints take on a new civilation ... planet. There are many ways this can go, but I am choosing to stick with the rebuilding of the Saints Empire. In a small world known as ______, the slightly older Saints Crew enter an entirely advanced, lost world of humans. This means large structures, floating bridges, people flying cars, and the best part is that it's in the present ... I mean, 5-10 years after Saints Row IV. This world can have many different storylines, and I will explore more in part 2.

This new world, _______, is it's own gang who resemble glowing white logos over their civilations and have many different cultural people, expressing racial freedom. However, the corporation is greedy and is starting to fail to support their people. Due to their small size, having problems means panic and rebellion. The Saints team up with rebels to take down an entire empire of Stag-like enemies who turn out to be a regular govornment and turns out that the Rebels are the bad guys for lying to the Saints in the end. Anyways, an idea of a main mission would be the ending where: The Saints take on a 3-headed skyscraper and jump from head to head taking out the entire building and taking over, a pretty freakin epic ending.

Fans, please encourage Volition to make an awesome next-gen game.

Saints Row 5: Next-Gen Plot Predictions (Part 2)

Saints Row 5: Next-Gen Plot Predictions (Part 2)

This is a two-part blog series with different possible outcomes of the newest and totally inevitable "Saints Row 5".

Synopsis/Scenario 4: The True Sequel
Everything after Saints Row when you end up in the hospital was all a dream, a coma even. This explains why everything starts to go crazy and the plotline starts to not make sense (which may or may not be a jab at the game's direction).

Starting fresh out of Saints Row (I), you continue to make your gang the best it can be using everything that was great from the dreams: Better Cars, Better Bases, Better Weapons, and using the crazy things from your dream and making them your own (like some of the alien technology) and to eventually, truly, finally ... take over a new city one more time.

Of course, the SR dev team has a tendancy to make 2 games per city, and that could apply here but it better be good for that to happen.

City Name Ideas: Stardinas, Stangrove, Stanstreet, etc.

Notes: Like with Scenario 1 in Part 1 of my blog series, I mentioned a series tone and in most Scenarios, nods to the original games. Now with the PS4 and Xbox One capabilities, we bring Stillwater and Steelport a slap to the face with an all new city, also mocking GTA V's new and trendy city-country styles. Streetlights in little forest roads, and hidden locations like in SR2

This edition of Next-Gen Predictions isn't done yet due to saving issues, but make sure to check out Part 1:

My Minecraft Mods: Compact Utilites "Block Times Nine"

Greetings, fellow gamers, minecrafters, and especially modders!
I haven't posted a custom mod in a while, but I've now come to you with a basic mod that goes towards your own use.

Introducing: Compact Utilities, or "Block Times Nine"

Campaign:
Tired of your inventory just filling up with tons of items while your mining? Like when you mine redstone and you just dont have inventory room for them? Well, obviously you just combine 9x9 of that item in your crafting bench, but that isnt the point. With this mod, you can make your blocks even more compact. You may now take 9 whole blocks and combine them in a crafting bench to make a Compact Block. There are currently 6 different blocks you may do this proccess with:
Lapis Lazuli Block x 9
Gold Block x 9
Diamond Block x 9
Iron Block x 9
Redstone Block x 9
Emerald Block x 9

The best thing about this mod is that in 1.1 (the next installment), we are adding the very overused Coal Block and still we are going to make a Compact Coal Block! We went there.

Upcoming 1.1 Features:
Adding Coal Block, Coal x 9 in Crafting Bench
Adding Compact Coal Block, Coal Block x 9 in Crafting Bench
Adding Compact Cobblestone Block
Adding Compact Oak Plank Block
Adding Compact Sand Block (Wont follow Gravity)
Adding Compact Dirt Block
Adding Compact Brick Block
Adding Compact Nether Brick Block
Adding Compact Sandstone (original non-carved) Block

Known Bugs:
Names for blocks do not appear when hovered over them.
Sometimes when Minecraft is launched, the textures appear blank, or White.

Primary Download: Adf.ly
Alternative Download: Mediafire

This is what I mean:
With these blocks, you can make a bank of your blocks!
A cool feature is that with the texture of the package wrapping, each Compact block looks connected as one package!

PurpleScent Texture Pack 16x16 (1.5 Snapshot 13w10b+)

Before we get started, I'm just going to say that this post is for all the girls (and maybe guys) who want to make their Minecraft 1.5 pretty. I am also going to say that Minecraft 1.5 Snapshot 13w10b is required. You can just get that really quickly using this link:
http://www.mojang.com/2013/03/minecraft-snapshot-13w10b/

Anyway, we are here to discuss my very first texture pack. It is more like an edit than an original pack but I do have original textures planned for this pack in further versions. This pack will be full of purpely, animated textures by the time it is fully completed.

On to the matter at hand. In this texture pack, so far, I have added a subtle layer of purple over many textures in the game. I have also changed the background in the texture packs menu to pink wool instead of dirt. Enough talk, let's show the purpley picture!
Precious purple grass. Connected textures and fancy grass is supported using Optifine

So if you are interested in testing it out the uncompleted version and sending me an email on your beta-testiness, feel free to do so.
Here is the link: Direct Link

Peace out, Purple Patriots!

Nickelodeon + TMNT = Dead Series

Interesting Fact about Me:
I used to love the 2D comic-like 2003-2009 TMNT series, and even the oldest versions from the 1980's and forward. But this never ending love for TMNT had finally ended when Nickelodeon put their name on it and totally ruined every good thing about the series.

1: They CGI'd it. Not cool! We loved the 2D series.

2: They completely messed with the original storylines. The 80-90's TMNT and the 2003-2009 may have been different, but they didnt completely mess with the original true origin of how they became mutants.

3: The characters are almost rip-offs of the 1987 and 2003-2009 series. For example, Donatello is supposed to be good with tech AND intelligent, whereas the new series shows him as a geek that doesnt constantly show off his tech-geekness in an intelligent way. Another example, leatherhead's image is completely destroyed. It just isnt right.

4: The spectacular phrase "Cowabunga" has been REMOVED and REPLACED. Do you wanna know what it was replaced with? BOOYAKASHA. What the heck is that supposed to be and how does it compare?  What the heck does it mean?

If you feel the same way, make a stand. Make your own blogspot post about this and email me the link! My email is: deathrepelled@gmail.com

[1.4.7] Sharp Diamonds 1.0

SPRITES MADE BY DEATHREPELLED

Hey there, bloggers and gamers. Today I am going to present you with the latest content mod I made. This one is very simple.

WARNING: These items are safe to place inside of an Anvil, but if you try to add any enchantment books to any of these items, your game will crash. Problems of the sort occur in CartoonexCraft, also. Remember: Anvils are safe for your new tools, enchantment books aren't.

:P

So the mod I will be showing you today might have been thought of already since it's so simple, but I couldn't find a mod with the same exact data as mine. This mod is called Sharp Diamonds.

To obtain a Sharp Diamond, please do not go wandering the caves searching for Sharp Diamond ore because you will not find it therefore it does not exist. You will need a lava bucket and a diamond. If you place both, shapelessly, into a crafting bench, you will get a hardened version of the diamond called, of course, Sharp Diamond. YOU WILL GET YOUR BUCKET BACK BECAUSE WHEN CRAFTED, YOU RECEIVE THE BUCKET BACK EMPTY AND YOUR NEW SHARP DIAMOND.
Currently, with your new Sharp Diamonds, you can create any of the 5 basic tools: Axe, Pickaxe, Shovel, Hoe, and Sword.
Unfortunately, you are unable to use an Enchantment Table. If you put any of your tools directly into an Enchantment table, your game will NOT crash, but it will not let you enchant anything. So remember: Merging books with these tools will crash your game, and you are unable to enchant them using the table. Even if you press the button, it'll just sit there.

Thanks again, guys, for reading up on my daily blog. I have some new content every day, and If everything goes well, I will tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm visiting a hotel, but hopefully they have free WiFi.

PEACE!
