Saints Row 5: Next-Gen Plot Predictions (Part 1)

Saints Row 5: Next-Gen Plot Predictions (Part 1)

Scenario 1: The Saints travel back in time to revisit their pasts one more time before they move on to another civilization (to continue into Scenario 3). They must briefly visit important events in each timeframe (game) and get everything and everyone that they need, taking on a more serious tone as with older installments.

Scenario 2: A Prequel that goes all out nostalgia on the original Saints Row fans that will get the oldies and the newcomers to enjoy the franchise again and explaining some of the backstory of how the Saints came to be. This would take some plot development, but that's just what Volition needs to do to win back their fans. I think it's out there, but definitely can work with enough time.

Scenario 3: A New Beginning
IMPORTANT: This could very likely be Saints Row 5 or could be Saints Row 6, coming after the time travel concept for Saints Row 5 in Scenario 1.
Combining the over-the-top theme with the fact that Earth is not there anymore, the Saints take on a new civilation ... planet. There are many ways this can go, but I am choosing to stick with the rebuilding of the Saints Empire. In a small world known as ______, the slightly older Saints Crew enter an entirely advanced, lost world of humans. This means large structures, floating bridges, people flying cars, and the best part is that it's in the present ... I mean, 5-10 years after Saints Row IV. This world can have many different storylines, and I will explore more in part 2.

This new world, _______, is it's own gang who resemble glowing white logos over their civilations and have many different cultural people, expressing racial freedom. However, the corporation is greedy and is starting to fail to support their people. Due to their small size, having problems means panic and rebellion. The Saints team up with rebels to take down an entire empire of Stag-like enemies who turn out to be a regular govornment and turns out that the Rebels are the bad guys for lying to the Saints in the end. Anyways, an idea of a main mission would be the ending where: The Saints take on a 3-headed skyscraper and jump from head to head taking out the entire building and taking over, a pretty freakin epic ending.

Fans, please encourage Volition to make an awesome next-gen game.

Saints Row 5: Next-Gen Plot Predictions (Part 2)

Saints Row 5: Next-Gen Plot Predictions (Part 2)

This is a two-part blog series with different possible outcomes of the newest and totally inevitable "Saints Row 5".

Synopsis/Scenario 4: The True Sequel
Everything after Saints Row when you end up in the hospital was all a dream, a coma even. This explains why everything starts to go crazy and the plotline starts to not make sense (which may or may not be a jab at the game's direction).

Starting fresh out of Saints Row (I), you continue to make your gang the best it can be using everything that was great from the dreams: Better Cars, Better Bases, Better Weapons, and using the crazy things from your dream and making them your own (like some of the alien technology) and to eventually, truly, finally ... take over a new city one more time.

Of course, the SR dev team has a tendancy to make 2 games per city, and that could apply here but it better be good for that to happen.

City Name Ideas: Stardinas, Stangrove, Stanstreet, etc.

Notes: Like with Scenario 1 in Part 1 of my blog series, I mentioned a series tone and in most Scenarios, nods to the original games. Now with the PS4 and Xbox One capabilities, we bring Stillwater and Steelport a slap to the face with an all new city, also mocking GTA V's new and trendy city-country styles. Streetlights in little forest roads, and hidden locations like in SR2

This edition of Next-Gen Predictions isn't done yet due to saving issues, but make sure to check out Part 1:
