Hello, fellow bloggers. I decided to enlarge my text so that you all can read what I have to say. I made a new mod and I am extra excited about this one. I call it: Better than Bricks! Here are a few images:

Trivia: Fire Bricks generate in the Nether in clumps of 4-5!

[1.4.7] Sharp Diamonds 1.0

Hey there, bloggers and gamers. Today I am going to present you with the latest content mod I made. This one is very simple.

WARNING: These items are safe to place inside of an Anvil, but if you try to add any enchantment books to any of these items, your game will crash. Problems of the sort occur in CartoonexCraft, also. Remember: Anvils are safe for your new tools, enchantment books aren't.

So the mod I will be showing you today might have been thought of already since it's so simple, but I couldn't find a mod with the same exact data as mine. This mod is called Sharp Diamonds.

To obtain a Sharp Diamond, please do not go wandering the caves searching for Sharp Diamond ore because you will not find it therefore it does not exist. You will need a lava bucket and a diamond. If you place both, shapelessly, into a crafting bench, you will get a hardened version of the diamond called, of course, Sharp Diamond. YOU WILL GET YOUR BUCKET BACK BECAUSE WHEN CRAFTED, YOU RECEIVE THE BUCKET BACK EMPTY AND YOUR NEW SHARP DIAMOND.

Currently, with your new Sharp Diamonds, you can create any of the 5 basic tools: Axe, Pickaxe, Shovel, Hoe, and Sword.

Unfortunately, you are unable to use an Enchantment Table. If you put any of your tools directly into an Enchantment table, your game will NOT crash, but it will not let you enchant anything. So remember: Merging books with these tools will crash your game, and you are unable to enchant them using the table. Even if you press the button, it'll just sit there.

[1.4.7] CartoonexCraft 1.2.6

Hello fellow Minecrafters, Videogamers, and to a much lesser extend, bloggers.
So if you read my last two posts, and downloaded my cool new mod, than you can definitely tell that work needed to be done. Just like a good old Minecraft Patch, such as 1.4.6, we threw in plenty of bug fixes and a little treat. Okay, first bug:

So if you'd look at the pictures below, you can tell that cartoon ores would naturally spawn on the surface instead of inside caves. This fail applied to Superflat and Default. 1.2.6 offers a fix, but this is how 1.2.4 basically looks like:

Okay so that was the only real bug. Although, if you tried this already or not, placing any Cartoonex-related item will result in a CRASH so just avoid putting any Cartoonex Mod related items into anvils or enchantment tables. They do not CRASH in enchantment tables, but swords just won't enchant. We might need a fix for that.

Moving on. RAINBOW Pickaxe has finally been implemented!

Shaped Crafting Recipe above. This recipe gives you TWO rainbow pick axes the strength of gold! WOWZA! STEAL.

CartoonexCraft 1.2.4: The Guide

Hey guys, and welcome to my first custom-made mod blog post. Download Link will be Provided. I will be showing you a series of pictures followed with a description that'll show you how to obtain each of these items. The Download Link is at the Bottom.

So let's get started. First, you are going to need to grab your wooden pickaxe and go search for some Cartoonex Ore:

Once you get a couple, you are able to place them in the furnace and you will recieve a structural version called Molded Cartoonex.

From this point, you are able to craft a sword. The Cartoon Sword, to be exact. This sword has the strength of Stone.

Once you recieve your Cartoon Sword, before you use it for combat, you can easily place it in a furnace to upgrade it to a Heated Cartoon Sword, with the power of iron. Basically a steal.

Once you obtain your Heated Cartoon Sword, you yet again have the chance to upgrade it's tier, but this time, you are going to need a few uncommon reagents. The image below will show you how to craft this diamond-hard Master Cartoon Sword, but the recipe is shapeless, so you can put those items in any order.

Now, your probably wondering about what you do with the dark, drippy ore and the sword dripping black ooze-like substances. This substance is no other but Ink. You can find it in cave systems like any other ore.

The only purpose for ink at this moment is to apply to your wooden sword. This next feature I will be showing you is quite unrealistic. Once you have 4 ink and your wooden sword on you, you need to give a visit to the crafting table. Place the wooden sword in the center of the table. Then, surround the sword with 4 ink in a plus pattern around the pickaxe (it might sound complicated but just look at the picture below you.) This recipe is in fact not shapeless. 

Once you use the recipe you see below, you will get a Stone Sword dripping ink. That is what I call a steal.

Now I don't know if you noticed, but there is also a fun decoration block called the Cartoon Block. Unfortunately, it does not yet have a recipe. We were thinking putting 9 Molded Cartoonex in a 3x3 pattern to make this block, but we arent sure yet. For now, you can find the colourful Cartoon Block in the Creative Menu under Decorations tab.

My First Mod: CartoonexCraft

My first successful, MAGIC LAUNCHER compatible, Minecraft 1.4.7 modification. 

Developed by me, Deathrepelled. You can look me up on PlanetMinecraft or the actual MinecraftForums.

Unfortunately, this mod cannot be posted on either website due to Linkseyi's ModMaker disclaimer, but he said I can post it on my blog.
